As shown in the final cutscene of the game Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!, she was created in the gum, and after she emerged, she learned to think, feel and be independent. Back then the future Princess Bubblegum served as an ally for the two survivors, providing them with cover and escape from the mutants that pursued them, and provided Simon with the soup he wanted for the young Marceline. Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum is implied to have formed in the years immediately following the Mushroom War, as a massive, blob-like creature made of pink gum which first appeared in "Simon & Marcy" having taken root in much of the ruined city.
The waving snail is seen on the time machine.There's some interesting info on this in the Princess Bubblegum entry on the Adventure Time wiki-apparently Princess Bubblegum did originate from the pink goo we see in Simon and Marcy, but the goo continued to exist afterwards, and she referred to it as "my parents". Princess Bubblegum will have a daughter in the future, named Gum. Flame Princess and Finn will get married and have two children. Flame Princess will be crowned Queen of the Fire Kingdom. It is reveled that Flame Princess real name is 'Elizabeth Alexandria Flame'. Finn and Flame Princess two unnamed children. And Princess Bubblegum sat in her throne room alone. Finn and Flame Princess kissed and Finn walked her home. Flame Princess said she is two and that she is going to be with Finn for a long time, she is going to have two children, and going to be crowned queen of the Fire Kingdom. Finn and Flame Princess he is exsited for their bright future. When they arrived they got back in the time machine and traveled back to the present. Everyone agreed and left for the Candy Kingdom castle. Princess Bubblegum told them that she wanted to go home. Jake was crying and clapping and Lady was saying congradulations to them, but in english. When they finally let go eveyerone found older Jake with Lady. Finn told Flame Princess "That we have a bright future together." Flame Princess had a big smille and blused and said "I guess we do, and I can't wait." They gave each other a hug. And congratulations to you dad for becoming king!" younger Flame Princess and Finn looked at each other. Then two little children (One human and the other fire-human) came running up too older Flame Princess and Finn and said "Congratulations, mom for becoming queen. Flame Princess and Finn were shocked to see this. The Flame Crowner came behind her and said "I hear pronounce 'Elizabeth Alexandria Flame' now the queen of Fire Kingdom. A man was sitting next to her who was Finn. When they got to the front they found Flame Princess sitting on the throne. Flame Princess looked concerned, but Finn told her not to worry. When they got there, crowds of millions lined up. But it was boarded up and a sign that said "Closed! Everyone Moved Out!" But everyone went to the Fire Kingdom. Next thing they found was the Tree House. " the little girl responded by saying "Yes, mother." Everyone was shocked to hear this. When they listened into the conversation, older Princess Bubblegum said, "Now your first lesson about being a princess, Princess Bonnible Gum. When the group entered they found PB talking to a little girl. Older Princess Bubblegum walked up to room and opened the door and closed it behind her. Just then older Princess Bubblegum walked out. Princess Bubblegum asked who she married to. Jake pointed out the older PB had a ring on her finger. PB responded by telling them they can not see, hear, or feel them since it is the first time she used the time machine. Finn tried calling her name but she didn't respond. Princess Bubblegum responded "20 years." Just then a women walked into the lab when the women turned around they found it was Princess Bubblegum but she looked older. Marceline asked how many years they went into the future. Princess Bubblegum said it worked but they were in the same place. 
Jake asked Princess Bubblegum if it worked. When they walked out of the time machine they found themselves where they left. The princess rolled her eyes to travel into the future. When she found them, Finn told her that they were going to travel trough time and asked if she wanted to come. When they were just about to enter Flame Princess and Marceline came in looking for Finn.
Princess Bubblegum told them that she invented a " Time Machine Box." Princess Bubblegum asked if they wanted to travel time with her. Princess Bubblegum had called over Finn and Jake to her lab. So she, Finn and Jake go to the fute and see a wierd future. Princess Bubblegum invents a time machine that can make anyone go to the future.
